
Immigrant Legal Aid Clinics
Through the Office of Economic Opportunity
1-2 times per month, the Office of Economic Opportunity hosts a free Virtual Legal Aid Clinic from 12-5 pm, where individuals may sign up for an 1 hour appointment to speak with a Volunteer Immigration Lawyer.
Appointments are limited to one appointment per person. Appointments are available to sign up for up to 2 months in advance.
Please be sure to have with you any immigration or other documents that might help the lawyer give you advice, such as your passport, work permit, application receipts, hearing notices, or other papers from Immigration or from the Immigration Court, or any other documents that could be helpful. The Zoom link & more information will be sent to the email and/or phone number/WhatsApp you provided when you registered.

Please note:
The Legal Aid Clinic can help with any immigration questions except relating to asylum.
Individuals will be meeting with a volunteer immigration lawyer, and not a City of Portland attorney.
Free Interpretation Services are available as needed.
